study the solid compounds of hydroxy 1,3,4 – oxadiazoles have been synthesized by reaction of acid hydrazides with CS2 in the presence of KOH. All the prepared compounds are characterized by using elemental analysis (C, H, N and S) and spectroscopic IR, H1 – NMR and studied the biological activity on four antibacterial (gram +Ve and gram –Ve) and three antifungal organisms. 1,3,4 – Oxadiazole are important compounds because of its versatile biological action such as antimicrobial, antimalarial, anticonvulsant, hypoglycemic, also analgesic, anti – inflammatory and anticancer.
