Peer Review Process
Kirkuk Journal of Science (Kirkuk J. Sci) is using double-blind peer reviewing system to assure the quality of the publication. The manuscript is accepted for publication if two expertise reviewers recommended that, therefore sometimes a third reviewer need to be assigned by editor if one of them reject it) in general, the manuscript requires two recommendations to be accepted or rejected). The author should first register in our online manuscript management system and then submit their manuscript. We will use iThenticate to check similarities prior to sending to reviewers.
Reviewers’ comments will be assessed by the editors which either reject in case of failed to fulfill the requirement or reviewer comment passed to the authors for revision, the author should resubmit the revised manuscript to the journal which is checked again by the editorial board, then sent back to the reviewer to review the revised version. the review may be repeated multiple times until the final decision is reached to accept or even reject.
Once final decision for publication made, a letter of acceptance being send to the author and process of production and publication followed. The flowchart of per-review process is given below:
